Rachel is well experienced in the mental health, crisis management, and educational resource fields. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of New Mexico and her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. While in New Mexico, Rachel worked as an advocate, and at The Rape Crisis Center of Central New Mexico in the Educational Outreach Department. Rachel served her community by consulting with schools and organizations about Rape Culture, Consent, and Teen Dating Violence. She was also a crisis phone operator trained in Trauma Informed Care, Suicide Prevention, Child Sexual Assault, Crisis Management, Oppression and LGBTQI+ issues, Domestic Violence, and more. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys playing with her two fur babies, Cumbre and Mikan, and binge watching the latest TV show on Netflix.
