Dr. Darla Faraday was born and raised in California. She attended the University of Tennessee during her undergraduate studies and majored in anthropology. She then earned a master’s degree in statistics and experimental psychology. Dr. Faraday attended the University of Maine for her Ph.D. in clinical psychology. She completed her internship in Des Moines/Knoxville Iowa at the Veterans Administration Health Care System. During her residency, Dr. Faraday pursued a specialization in pediatric neuropsychology at the Indiana Neuroscience Institute and Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital. She specializes in neurodevelopmental, neurobehavioral, and neurogenetic disorders in pediatric populations. Much of Dr. Faraday’s research focuses on neurodivergent diagnoses such as autism. On a personal note, Dr. Faraday is an avid animal lover and enjoys exploring the great outdoors, collecting rocks, astronomy, and listening to vinyl records.
