A Little Bit Of Our History
- Innovative Health Care Concepts, Inc. (IHCC) incorporated in June 1994. IHCC entered into a provider agreement with the State of Idaho to provide Service Coordination for adults and children with a developmental disability. Several years later, IHCC began working with adults and children with mental health disorders and started providing psychosocial rehabilitation. The Learning Center, IHCC’s developmental disability agency, started providing life skills training to children in 2002 and adults in 2006.
- In 2006, IHCC started working with Certified Family Homes by providing agency affiliation and program coordination. This residential habilitation program has grown and now IHCC provides supported living training to adults with a developmental disability who reside in their own home.
- Mental Health services expanded and IHCC now provides counseling services along with Community Based Rehabilitative Services. In 2007, IHCC contracted with Dr. Richard Swenson to provide psychological testing services. Dr. Swenson has since retired, bur psychology department has now grown to include many new psychologists, including Dr. Dorian Asher.
- In 2011, IHCC contracted with Dr. Darla Faraday, a Pediatric Neuropsychologist, to complete extensive diagnostic testing needed to help outline services that meet the needs of children, adolescents and young adults with neurological, developmental, psychiatric or behavioral issues. Dr. Faraday continues to be an integral part of our program to this day.
