Ryan Palmer, LPC, is a counselor who enjoys working with people as they navigate the challenges that come with life, relationships, and personal growth. He works with individuals and groups dealing with anxiety, stress, trauma, relationships, identity, and major life changes. Ryan also has a particular interest in working with individuals who are struggling with sexually compulsive behaviors and want to develop healthier ways of coping, connecting, and moving forward. His approach draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Person-Centered Counseling, but he believes the most important part of therapy is creating a space where people can be honest about what they are experiencing without feeling judged. Ryan takes a practical, conversational approach to counseling and believes therapy should be a place where clients can work through difficult things, learn more about themselves, and make meaningful changes. When not in the office, you will most likely find Ryan and his family hiking and exploring Yellowstone National Park.
